What a great day it was today! I was up early since Troy had to head to Mankato for work and once the kids got up, we headed out for the day. Maybe this is just what I need, some nice weather to get me motivated to get out of bed early in the morning to make the most of the day.
Today we hit some garage sales, Kaiden wanted to buy clothes and shoes. Hmmm I wonder where he gets that from? He's such a cutie pie, asking people at the garage sale what they think of the clothes he found. Most things were too big, so I spent most of my time telling him all the reasons we probably didn't need to take all the clothes home that he found :) We did end up with a couple randoms, but hey at 25 and 50 cents, who can say no to that precious little boy?
Kallie did great today too. She's getting over her cold, so that's good. I think the nice weather actually helps her. After our big bargain shopping, we played some golf outside, went for a walk, played a little more golf, then it was time for lunch and time to get ready for work. It sure felt good to enjoy some time with the kids today. I need to do more of this!
